Sister Bra Sizes
Bra sizes that surround your bra size is called "Sister Bra Sizes". When you try a bra that does not fit just right, you can try a sister size. For instance 32C->34B->36A, all have about the same cup sizes however a 36 will have a bigger band. So if you wear a 34B and feel that the band is too tight, you can try a 36A, or if the band is too big, you can try a 32C and so on and so forth.

Finding The Right Band Size
To find your band size, while standing, put on a non padded bra. Get a measuring tape and stand straight in front of a mirror. Wrap the measuring tape around your diaphragm underneath the bust, at the bottom band of the bra. Make sure that the measuring tape is straight and not snug. The measurement you get in inches is your band size. This measurement plus 5 inches equals the body size. It it's an odd number, round the number to the nearest even number. If the diaphragm measurement is 32 inches, add 5 inches to arrive at the body measurement (37 inches). Since 37 is an uneven number, just add one more inch to arrive at 38 as the body measurement. If the diaphragm measurement is over 33 inches, add only 3 inches to obtain the band size since this silhouette type sometimes has soft flesh which will compress.
To Find Your Cup Size
With a measuring tape, measuring around the fullest part of your breasts. Take this measurement and subtract the band measurement. The difference between this measurement and the body size, including the 5 inches which have been added, will determine the cup size as indicated below.
- If the bust measurement is up to 1 inch larger than body size the cup size is A
- If the bust measurement is up to 2 inch larger than body size the cup size is B
- If the bust measurement is up to 3 inch larger than body size the cup size is C
- If the bust measurement is up to 4 inch larger than body size the cup size is D
- If the bust measurement is up to 5 inch larger than body size the cup size is DD
